Well I guess Flickr ate my HNT pic, and because I didn't notice until so late today, I just took it down. I'll repost it next week.

HNT #3: Crumbs

Somehow I totally forgot about Half-Nekkid Thursday last week. I've been too preoccupied I suppose.

I've been waiting a year for a job interview, and I finally got the call last Friday. The interview was yesterday.

The last interview I went on I had major pink eye and looked like a crazy drug addict, and also was paged in the middle of the interview to move my car because I had accidentally parked in the snow lane.

This interview was even better than the last. Continuing in typical Stephanie luck, I was evacuated out of the building in the middle of the interview for a fire alarm. Nothing like a fire alarm to help you lose your train of thought.

Anyway, due to my complete sidetracked mind, I'm posting one of my favorite pics... I love the crumbs on the floor... and the little white panties are cute too.

Turkey Turkey Nom Nom Nom

So it's Canadian Thanksgiving. Hurray!

This year I was put in charge of the salad, so I made this guy: Asian Chicken Salad, sans the chicken of course. Delicious! Best salad ever. I put snap peas in there as well, they're not part of the recipe, but genius!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Vroom Vroomy

Sometimes I really have to stop and wonder if I have any brain power at all. I do the most random and stupid things that I amaze myself.

After parking in front of a median (one of those little ones that aren't very tall) I went into the local drugstore to pick up a package, that's right, my Post Office is in the town drugstore. It was this huge box that weighed surprisingly little, and it contained a gong for my mom.

Anyway, after loading up the car with this huge box, I started the car and drove over the median. In my defense, I couldn't actually see the median from inside the car, but still, weak defense.

Another ridiculous thing I do sometimes is purchase an article of clothing even though it is too small for me. It's mostly in the hopes that I'll be inspired to you know, exercise, and then wear said article of clothing.

I know, it's totally ridiculous. But, last night I was trying to decide what to wear to an Iron and Wine concert, featuring Woodpigeon - who are amazing amazing amazing; and I thought I'd try out this shirt that I bought a while back that didn't fit. And woot woot, it fits!

Half-Nekkid Thursday #1: Unleashed

I used to participate in HNT but gave up my old blog and the ritual. But I've recently decided to come back to it and release some creative juices.

I couldn't decide between color and black and white:

Happy Half-Nekkid Thursday everyone!

Cute Post Secret

This has never occurred to me to do this, but it's such a cute idea that I might just do it next time I have group work.

If you haven't been to Post Secret yet, and I really can't imagine that anyone hasn't found out about Post Secret, check it out here.

Love Love Love

Today marked the official pre-sale of Matthew Good's latest release: Live at Massey Hall.

This album is a limited release, with only 300 signed pre-sale copies available via Maple Music; and a grand total of 10,000 copies.

Luckily I was able to score a signed pre-sale copy and I'm stoked about it. A mix-up stopped the limited vinyl release of the album today, but I can wait until November 4th when the album is physically released.

And if you're not in Canada, the album is already on iTunes, I recommend that you check is out asap.

Drill Drill, Cringe

Like most people, I have an irrational fear of the dentist. And like most people, every so often I have to suck it up and just go.

To my utter delight, it seems in the extended period of time that I have been away from my dentist, they came up with sandblasting. I'm not sure if this is a recent technology development, or if it had just never been used on before, but, it made the whole experience much easier.

Instead of drilling out those pesky cavities, they just shoot a stream of cold air at your tooth that has some pebble things in it and then they fill in the hole. No painful needle for freezing and best of all, no horrifying drill noises.

All in all a fun great nice uneventful dental experience. Maybe I won't wait 6 years to go back next time.
